What to Expect from a Dental Tooth Extraction

Just the sound of “tooth extraction” can put you on edge if you don’t know what to expect. But tooth extractions are not to be feared as they’re fairly quick, painless procedures. We’ll do what we can to save your tooth, but if the damage is beyond repair, it will have to be removed. Removing severely damaged teeth gives your mouth a chance to heal. Here’s what you can expect from the extraction process:

•  A typical single tooth extraction procedure can take 30–40 minutes to complete. Multiple extractions will take longer.
